MTS introduced Magnetostrictive Position Sensor for Construction Machinery
MTS Sensors, one division of MTS Systems Corporation, expanded the MH series of magnetostrictive linear position sensors widely used by introducing threaded flange options.
This MH - Threaded sensor is suitable for use in applications for construction machines and special vehicles such as crane outriggers and liquid level measurement of tanks.
This sensor has a very sturdy stainless steel housing, and it has a waterproof / dustproof structure conforming to IP69K. A high performance operation is realised with a resolution of 0.1 mm, repetition accuracy of 0.1 mm, and linearity of 0.04% FS. The effective length is 2500 mm, the diameter of the sensor rod is 7 mm or 10 mm, and the operating temperature is -40 ° C to + 85 ° C.
