In a significant step toward advancing sustainable infrastructure and energy efficiency, recently, Pendinginan Megajana Sdn Bhd (Megajana) and Darul Ehsan Facilities Management Sdn Bhd (DEFM) have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore innovative solutions in green technology and smart energy management.
This landmark collaboration combines DEFM’s expertise in state asset and facility management with Megajana’s specialisation in District Cooling Systems (DCS), setting the stage for strategic initiatives that align with Malaysia’s Net Zero goals. The partnership aims to enhance energy efficiency, reduce carbon footprints, and promote sustainable urban development across Selangor and beyond.
The MoU signifies a joint commitment to: i) Pioneer energy-efficient solutions in infrastructure and facility management; ii) Accelerate the adoption of District Cooling Systems (DCS) for smarter, more sustainable cooling in urban areas; iii) Support Selangor’s green agenda by integrating renewable energy and low-carbon technologies; and iv) Strengthen public-private collaboration to drive Malaysia’s sustainability transformation.
