THDC India Limited has successfully commenced the commercial operation of the second unit (660 MW) of the (2×660 MW) Khurja Super Thermal Power Project (KSTPP) in Khurja, Uttar Pradesh. The momentous occasion was graced by Manohar Lal, Union Minister of Power, Housing & Urban Affairs, Government of India – who officially inaugurated the commercial operation of the second unit through virtual mode.
A.K. Sharma, Minister of Energy & Urban Development, Govt. of UP and Narendra Bhooshan (IAS), Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Energy & Renewable Energy, Govt. of UP along with other officials were also present during the event via virtual mode.
Lal congratulated THDCIL and all stakeholders associated with the Khurja Super Thermal Power Project on achieving this significant milestone.
