POWERGRID to Organise GRIDCON 2025 at Dwarka, Delhi

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID), a ‘Maharatna’ Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under Ministry of Power, Government of India, is organising GRIDCON 2025 – an International Exhibition cum Conference scheduled from 9-11 March 2025 at Yashobhoomi, Dwarka, Delhi. This mega event will bring together, 2000+ Conference Delegates, 150+ Exhibiting Companies, 150+ Papers or Poster Presentations and 30+ Country Representatives from across the globe.

GRIDCON 2025, is a premier event in the power transmission industry, for professionals, researchers, and academicians across the global power system community to shape the future of grid resilience, asset management, and digital transformation. As we face rapid changes in technology and operations, this conference will provide a platform to explore cutting-edge solutions and strategies for a reliable, efficient, and sustainable power grid.

Recently, a meeting with the exhibitors of GRIDCON 2025 was organised at Corporate Centre, Gurugram, which was chaired by Naveen Srivastava, Director (Operations), in presence of Rajil Srivastava, ED (QA&I), R. K. Rohilla, ED (CS), Adish Kumar Gupta, ED (Corp. Comm. & Law) and other senior officials. More than 125 prospective organisations participated in that meet.

As of 15th January 2025, POWERGRID has commissioned and is operating 280 substations and more than 1,79,594 ckm transmission lines and 5,46,461 MVA of transformation capacity. With the adoption of the latest technological tools and techniques, enhanced use of automation and digital solutions, POWERGRID has been able to maintain an average transmission system availability of more than 99.81%.
