Surya Roshni, one of the most trusted and respected brands in Lighting, Fans, Home Appliances, Steel, and PVC pipes, has announced an investment of Rs 1,800 crore towards its ongoing expansion initiatives, reaffirming its commitment to sustainable growth and technological innovation.
Of this, Rs 500 crore has been earmarked specifically for operations in Madhya Pradesh, underlining the company’s continued focus on strengthening its presence in the Gwalior–Chambal region. Over the last three years, Surya Roshni has already invested approximately Rs 150 crore in the state, and an additional `300 crore investment is currently under implementation.
The company is rapidly advancing its product expansion plans. After the successful launch of its wires and cables division, Surya Roshni will soon begin manufacturing MCBs and other electrical products, further diversifying its consumer electrical offerings.
As part of its sustainability roadmap, Surya Roshni has also invested Rs 10 crore to install solar power plants at its Malanpur (Madhya Pradesh) and Kashipur (Uttarakhand) manufacturing units, further advancing its vision of cleaner, self-reliant, and energy-efficient production. This initiative reflects the company’s strong commitment to renewable energy and reducing its carbon footprint.
