Dr. Bijay Kumar Mohanty, Director (Finance), Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd. (IREDA), has recently assumed additional charge as Chairman & Managing Director of IREDA. The Ministry of New & Renewable Energy has entrusted him with the additional charge for three months, or till the appointment of a regular incumbent, or until further orders, whichever is earliest.
Dr. Mohanty has been serving as Director (Finance) of IREDA since October 12, 2023, and as the company’s Chief Financial Officer since October 16, 2023. Before joining IREDA, he headed the Smart Metering Division at REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL) and served as Senior General Manager (Finance and Accounts) at REC Limited.
