The fifth edition of SEMICON India 2026 will be held at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi, from September 17–19, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi scheduled to inaugurate the event on September 17. The conference and exhibition, jointly organised by the India Semiconductor Mission (ISM) and SEMI, will bring together stakeholders from the global semiconductor and electronics ecosystem.
Themed “Silicon to Systems: Building the Ecosystem”, the three-day event will feature government and industry leaders, experts, academia, investors and students. The programme will include keynotes, panel discussions, fireside chats and international country roundtables focused on semiconductor manufacturing, technology, supply chains, sustainability, product design, startups and skilling.
The event is expected to feature more than 500 exhibitors, including over 240 international companies, with participation from more than 40 countries and 150 international speakers. Six country pavilions and 10 state government pavilions will also be part of the exhibition.
The event comes as India advances its semiconductor ecosystem under the Semicon India Programme. Twelve projects have been approved under the first phase, supporting the development of a robust and resilient semiconductor manufacturing and electronics ecosystem in the country. The event serves as a platform for remarkable convergence of ideas, collaboration and innovation, creating an opportunity to address the complex challenges of tomorrow while fostering greater collaboration across the semiconductor ecosystem.
In addition to distinguished government officials, this year’s event will also feature an impressive lineup of industry leaders from top companies including ASML, Applied Materials, Teradyne, Infineon, Ebara, Jabil, IBM Research, NXP, Tata Electronics, Micron, Merck KGaA, Rapidus, Lam Research, CG Power, Uno Minda, Advantest, Inox Air Products, SEMI, HORIBA STEC, SCREEN, Everspin Technologies, Brewer Science, Polar Semiconductor, Tokyo Electron, Emergence AI, and more.
