NLC India Limited (NLCIL); a central public sector undertaking under the administrative control of the Ministry of Coal, Government of India; has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Auroville Foundation on 26.06.2026 under CSR to support sustainable electric mobility through the provision of electric vehicles. NLCIL has diversified into renewable energy and coal mining business in India and abroad.
Project outlay: `21.40 lakh. The MoU Exchange Ceremony was graced by Prasanna Kumar Motupalli, CMD, Samir Swarup, Director (HR), D.V.S. Narayana Murthy, Executive Director (Corporate Legal, CSR & Medical), T. Chellam, DGM/Unit Head (CSR), NLC India Limited, Dr. G. Seetharaman, OSD, and Selvaganapathi, Procurement Officer, Auroville Foundation, along with senior officials from both organisations.
