Aiming to diversify and expand capacities to meet growing domestic demand

Cabcon India Ltd., (CIL) was established in the year 1991.  It is an ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 certified Manufacturer, Supplier & Exporter of all types of Aluminium Conductors, LT Power & Control and LT AB Cables required for Electrical Transmission & Distribution lines. CIL has also set up a separate EPC Division in the year 2010 exclusively for execution of  Turnkey Projects for development of  Electricity infrastructure  and  Electrification  under  different Govt of India  Developmental  Scheme.

Cables and conductors play an indispensable role in the Electrical Industry. Having installed most advanced and modern machines our present capacity stands 1,00,000 Kms PA of Conductors for use  up to 33kV  lines, 18,000 Kms PA EHV Conductors  for use up to 765kV lines and 30,000 Kms PA for all types of LT Cables including Aerial Bunched Cables.

We at Cabcon, have a dream to empower the nation in this sector and achieve constant growth by providing superior quality products and trusted services. We are well aware that the Government of India has approved the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) to help DISCOMs improve their operational efficiencies and financial sustainability by providing result-linked financial assistance to DISCOMs with outlay of Rs 3,03,758 Crore over 5 years  i.e., FY 2021-22 to 2025-26.

Owing to this growing demand of conductors and cables, CIL is  set to increase its capacity to the tune of 50% in coming two years. In order to meet this target, we are in the process of installing state of the art new machines –  particularly to manufacture LT Power and Control cables, also most modern Testing equipment for FR and FRLS cables in our plant at Dhulagarh.

We are also planning to install CCV line by year 2024 for manufacturing of MV XLPE cables from 3.3kV to 33kV grade in order to strengthen our presence in the country as a major player for supply of cables  up to 33kV Grade.

We have also expanded our EPC Division having awarded order of more than Rs 1000 Crore in the present financial year 2022-23 by various Discoms in the field of  re-conductoring  of 220 kV transmission line and re – structuring of distribution lines under present RDSS scheme, a flagship programme under Govt of India.
