Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) recently celebrated its annual BHEL Day with great fervour, where the company’s ‘Excel Awards’ were conferred on meritorious employees. H. D. Kumaraswamy, Union Minister of Heavy Industries and Steel graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and presented the awards. Kamran Rizvi, Secretary (Heavy Industries); Vijay Mittal, Joint Secretary (Heavy Industries); K. Sadashiv Murthy, Chairman and Managing Director BHEL; Directors; Chief Vigilance Officer, and other officers and employees were present on the occasion.
Kumaraswamy gave away Excel awards to 31 teams comprising 161 employees from various units of BHEL. BHEL’s Excel Awards scheme is a unique award scheme that recognises all-round excellence and contribution made by employees.
