The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has redesignated Rosatom Technical Academy (Rosatom Tech) as an IAEA Collaborating Centre, signing a new four-year agreement that expands the scope of their collaboration during the recent IAEA International Conference on Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) and their Applications.
IAEA Collaborating Centres are typically universities, research institutes, or other specialized organizations that work with the Agency to advance nuclear science, technology, and applications in various fields, including energy, health, agriculture, and environmental protection. By leveraging the expertise and resources of such Centres, the IAEA fosters innovation, research and capacity-building in Member States.
