Ruchira Green Earth to increase production of its Li-ion batteries

Ruchira Green Earth aims to establish 200 crore lithium battery plants to accelerate the transition to electric vehicles.

Ruchira Green Earth, an Indian manufacturer of lithium batteries under its flagship brand AKIRA, targets to establish 200 crore lithium battery plants. It has already started commercial production in Yamuna Nagar (Haryana), enhancing its manufacturing capacity to fulfil the rising demand for its exclusive product line.

The company has been awarded contracts worth crores from OEM’S such as Gemopai, Tunwal, Myantra, Benling, Komaki and many more for the supply of lithium-ion batteries for its electric two wheelers-EV scooters.
