Manisha Saxena, IRS 2000 (C&CE), has been appointed as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of IREDA on 14th December, 2020. Saxena is an Indian Revenue Service (IRS – Customs & Central Excise) Officer of 2000-batch. Before joining IREDA, she was posted as Commissioner in Goods & Service Tax Commissionerate, Vadodara under the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs.
Saxena did her Master’s in Public Administration after graduating in Commerce from the University of Rajasthan. She has also done a Diploma in Human Resource Management from the same university. She is also an avid reader who has special interest in music and movies.
Speaking on the occasion, CMD IREDA, Pradip Kumar Das said, “CVOs play a consistent role in bringing transparency and compliance in the system. All IREDA employees should leverage from the new CVO’s experience in Indirect Taxes and GST.”
