Orient Electric Ltd. (OEL) has appointed Rajan Gupta as MD and CEO with effect from April 4, 2023. He has joined OEL Board as a full-time Director and is based in New Delhi.
With this new assgnment, Gupta will focus on building the organization through organic and inorganic expansion. He will set up cutting edge manufacturing facilities and strengthen the brand.
Gupta has undergone Yale Global Executive Leadership Program, from Yale School of Management; Master of Business Administration (MBA), Marketing and Finance, from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore; Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.), Civil Engineering, from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology; The Tata Group Strategic Leadership Seminar (TGSLS) leadership programme in partnership with Harvard Business School.
Before joining OEL, Gupta served Hathway Cable and Datacom as MD and CEO; and Chairman of the Board, GTPL Hathway.
