NXP Semiconductors N.V. has recently declared that Annette Clayton has been appointed as a Non-executive Director of their Board of Directors, effective from May 26, 2021. Her appointment was overwhelmingly approved in the latest Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of the company.
Clayton is the Chief Executive Officer and President of Schneider Electric North America, the largest operating region of Schneider Electric, a multinational firm specializing in energy management and industrial automation solutions. Prior to Schneider Electric, she served in executive leadership roles at Dell and General Motors. Clayton also chairs the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA, USA) and is in the Board of Director for the National Association of Manufacturers.
