L&T Secures Offshore Orders from ONGC

L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Offshore (LTEH Offshore), a business of Larsen & Toubro, has secured a batch of orders from the Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for projects located off India’s west coast.

The orders cover the Pipeline Replacement Project (PRP-X) and the Well Head Platforms Project. Under PRP-X, L&T will undertake engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) of multiple subsea pipeline segments, along with associated modification works across ONGC’s offshore fields.

The Well Head Platforms Project involves EPCIC of four well head platforms. The scope of work will require integrated offshore engineering and project execution capabilities, supported by L&T’s fabrication facilities and marine assets.

L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Offshore has executed offshore projects across fixed platforms, subsea pipelines and structures, brownfield upgrades and decommissioning assignments in India and international markets.

The company said the latest orders further reinforce its position in India’s offshore energy infrastructure sector.

Commenting on the orders, Parthasarathi Chatterjee, Senior Vice President & Head – L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Offshore, said the projects reflect customer confidence in the company’s integrated EPCIC capabilities and project execution experience
