Under NPCIL-NCC MoU, recently two awareness programmes were conducted at NCC camps in State Forest Training Institute campus, Ranchi and National Institute of Advance Manufacturing Technology campus, Ranchi.
These programmes were conducted on 2nd and 3rd June 2024, where a lecture titled “Atom: A Clean Source of Sustainable Energy, “ was delivered – to provide information about Indian Nuclear power programme; its connection to sustainability as an environment-friendly source of energy; national and International energy scenario, safety aspects in nuclear power plants, radiation safety, operation of nuclear power plants. The lectures were followed by animation videos.
During an interactive session after the lecture, many questions about nuclear energy and its applications were addressed.
