Ram Naresh Singh has assumed the charge of Chairman, DVC from 15th January 2021. Prior to joining DVC, he was the Executive Director (Engineering & FQA) at Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL). He brings with him more than three decades of rich
experience in multifarious areas across the value chain of the Indian power sector.
Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) is a well-known integrated power major that has been discharging mandated responsibilities towards flood control, irrigation, water supply and soil conservation. As a mission, since its inception, the company has been providing quality power and best-in-class services at competitive rates to its customers.
Unless and until further order comes for extension, Singh is expected to continue as Chairman of DVC till July 31, which is the date of his superannuation.
