R. Nagpal has taken over the charge of Executive Director of Northern Region-III of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID). POWERGRID is a Schedule ‘A’, ‘Maharatna’ Public Sector Enterprise of Govt. of India, which was incorporated on 23rd October, 1989 – under the Company Act, 1956. Prior to this, he held the responsibility of CGM (Projects) of Northern Region-I of POWERGRID.
Nagpal did his Electrical Engineering from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh in the year 1984. He is MBA (Finance) and possesses a Master’s Degree in Computer Science. He has served more than 37 years in the Indian Power Sector. He joined POWERGRID in 1991. During his service in various Regions and Corporate Centre, Nagpal played a vital role in the Construction and Operation of various important Power Projects and Transmission Systems.
