D i n e s h Wa g h m a r e (IAS) has joined as C h a i r m a n and Managing Director of Maharashtra S t a t e E l e c t r i c i t y Transmission Co Ltd (MSETCL) on 23rd January. He is a senior IAS officer of 1994 batch. He took charge from Parrag Jaiin Nainutia, IAS who is posted as Secretary, Social Justice and Special Assistance Department, Government of Maharashtra. Prior to joining of MSETCL, Waghmare was posted as Principal Secretary, Social Justice and Special Assistance Department, Government of
Maharashtra.
Waghmare is BE (Electronics) from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, (VNIT) Nagpur and MTech from IIT Kharagpur in Computer Science. He has also done MSc in Development & Project Planning, Bradford University, England, UK. He possesses more than 26 years of experience in responsible roles in spheres of Management and Administration.
