Fränz Ney has joined the DALI Alliance (Digital Illumination Interface Alliance, or DiiA) staff as a Technical Software Developer. His initial focus will be to develop DALI Alliance test sequences including the tests for DALI+ and DALI gateways. His other tasks will include analysing test results and writing or maintaining technical guides.
At his former company, DALI Alliance member Loytec GmbH (part of Delta Electronics), Fränz worked for the past five years in the field of building automation and DALI. He contributed to the DALI Alliance subgroups including macro-code development for test sequences.
Commenting on Ney’s appointment, Paul Drosihn, General Manager of the DALI Alliance, said, “We are delighted to welcome Fränz to the DALI Alliance. His expertise and experience will help us to accelerate our efforts to introduce certification for DALI+ devices and wireless to DALI gateways.”
