FAME RACK is the latest addition to the FAME (Fast And Modular Energy) plug-in test system – a test interface between the field installation and the measurement or safety equipment in high and medium-voltage switching devices. The new plug-in test sockets can be installed directly in the commonly used 19” racks in accordance with IEC 60297-3. Functionally, FAME RACK is based on FAME 3 technology. The plug-in test socket and the test plug have been newly developed especially for use in the compact 19” technology. The system is modular in design and makes consistent use of the CLIPLINE complete system accessories, e.g. the simple realization of star-point bridges. This makes FAME a unique test system that can be used throughout the world.
