KUSAM-MECO has introduced a new exciting Digital Multimeter Model KM 789 to its large range of High Safety “UL” listed Multimeters. ‘UL’ listed multimeters are / superior than other multimeters available in Indian market due to the following reasons:1) ‘UL’ standards are set by ’UL’ where as ‘CE’ is self-certification to confirm as per manufacturers specification. ‘UL’ multimeter have Transient protection from 6 kV to 12 kV (depending upon the model) Unlike CE multimeters which do not have such protection. ‘UL’ multimeters have fire extinguishing poly carbonate body unlike other makes which have only ABS body. ‘UL’ listed DMMS have HRC fuses unlike glass fuses thus providing more safety to the user. KM 789 has all above features. It can measure DC voltage, AC+DC voltage, Resistance, Capacitance, Logic level Frequency, DC loop current 4-20mA, AC Voltage, LoZ auto DC Volts; Low z Auto- AC volts, BEEPLIT Continuity tester, Beeplit diode tester, Crest mode (Instantaneous Peak hold), Auto Hold, Real Read, AC+DC current, % duty cycle, VFD AC voltage, Non contact EF Detection, Record Mode MAX, MIN, & AVG, DC Current, AC Current, Temperature, T1, T2 & T1-T2, Line level frequency, dBm. The instrument has large Backlighted LCD Display having 60,000 Counts. It also has 31 Segment Bar-graph. It is powered by 3 Nos 1.5V AAA Alkaline batteries. To conserve the battery power it has Auto Power off function. The weight is approx. 420grm. It is supplied with Test lead, User’s manual, Bkp60 banana plug K-type thermocouple.
