PXIL and its employees contribute towards the PM-CARES Fund

PXIL felt honoured to contribute towards the PM-CARES fund for the affected people during the ongoing pandemic.

Power Exchange India Limited (PXIL) has made its contribution to the Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations (PM-CARES) fund to provide relief measure to the affected people during the COVID-19 pandemic. The company employees and staff have dedicated a day’s wage towards the contribution. In addition to that PXIL has contributed more than equal amount to the sum collected through employee support towards PM-CARES fund.

Prabhajit Kumar Sarkar, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Power Exchange India Limited said: “We are very honoured to be able to contribute to the society through a platform created by the government. PM-CARES fund is certainly a very noble initiative for everyone to come together and contribute collectively to help affected people in such distressing times.”

The power sector has been classified as an essential service and PXIl is working vigorously to ensure operations are running flawlessly for the customers 24×7 providing uninterrupted power supply amid the national lock-down or any other eventualities.
