Multi speed Motors, Flame-proof Motors, Cooling Tower Motors, Torque Motors, Brake Motors, Invertor Duty Motors, Roller Table Motors, Crane Duty Motors, Textile Motors, Smoke Extraction Motors and many other Motors as per customer specific needs and specific applications. We are also known for developing special motors like one with Electrical Design changes or with Mechanical changes as per customers’ requirements.
How is the growth potential of the AC motors?
The applications of Electric AC Motors are immense. AC Motors are required in almost all sectors. Motors are required for industrial as well as domestic applications in one or other forms. The rapid industrial revolutions have created big market for Motors. L T AC Motors market in India is estimated to be around Rs 7,000 cr annually and is expected to grow at the rate of seven per cent year on year for the next five years.
Which are the various segments your company is tapping for AC motors?
Our company is a pioneer in AC Motors manufacturing and supplying. We are catering to all most all sectors and applications. We have a product range of AC Motors from 0.12 kW (0.16HP) to 450 kW (600HP), which covers from 63 frame size to 355 frame sizes meeting customers’ specifications & requirements.
We supply our products to all segments and sectors including; pumps, blowers, fans, conveyors, compressors, cement plants, steel plants, textile, power packs, conveyors, rice mills, oil and natural gas, fertilizer industries, chemical industries, crane industry, pharmaceuticals, construction equipment, stone crushers, cooling tower applications, inverter duty applications, A/c and refrigeration, HVAC and gear box applications, general applications and other as per customer specific requirements. In our company quality is given the topmost priority. In manufacturing of motors, a competitive edge lies in providing consistent quality and high reliability. We have one of the best testing laboratories and equipment in electrical industry in India. Each product goes through stringent quality checks and tests at every stage to ensure that the product meets customers’ requirements. Motors are thoroughly tested and certified before dispatch to meet the required IS/IEC and other quality standards.
Tell me about your manufacturing facility. Are there any expansion plans?
With the modest beginning with an Electric Motor unit in Mumbai in the year 1973, the company has set up the state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at Daman and Vapi. We have more than five decades of manufacturing experience in motors. We have four manufacturing plants and all the manufacturing is happening in-house only. We have stamping punching unit, machining units (equipped with CNC Machines-SPMs & VTLs) die casting unit, tool room and pattern shop-rotor balancing units, automatic winding machines unit, VPI & impregnation units, assembling units, testing units and others.
Hindustan brand motors are the preferred choice for OEMs and end users and projects. We have big plans to further enhance our manufacturing facilities to meet the growing demand for Hindustan brand motors. We are setting up new plants at Daman & Vapi.
What kind of after-sales service and customization option do you provide to your clients?
Hindustan Electric Motors has offices all over India – and has a wide network of authorised distributors, dealers and service entities. We have more than 75 ASC s spread across India and also at overseas. We make 24×7 service help available. As mentioned earlier, we are known for providing customisation option to our clients.
What is the present Turnover of your company?
Due to regular patronage from our customers and our commitment to excellence, we have achieved a phenomenal rate of growth with a total turnover of Rs. 1,500 Cr plus – as per last financial year 2022-23.
